Sione Moala Fineanganofo, 57, of the Nuku'alofa 8th Ward, Nuku'alofa Tonga North Stake, called as president of the Nu ku'alofa Tonga Temple, succeeding Pres. 'Uiha Tu'ikolovatu. Pres. Fineangangofo's wife, Telusila Falaetau Mahu'inga Fineanganofo, will serve as temple matron.
Pres. Fineanganofo is currently first counselor in the Tonga Nuku'alofa Mission presidency, and has served as regional representative, stake president, stake president's counselor, national director of public affairs for Tonga, bishop and branch president. A retired teacher, middle school principal, deputy principal of Laihona High School and Church Eductional System administrative assistant, he received a bachelor's degree from BYU-Hawaii and a master's of education from BYU. He was born in Kolomotu'a, Nuku'alofa Tonga, to Lisiate and Salote Fineanganofo.Sister Fineanganofo is a former stake Primary amd Relief Society president and gospel doctrine instructor. She received a bachelor's degree from BYU-Hawaii. She was born in Pangai, Ha'apai, Tonga, to Tevita Folau and Onita Velma Mahu'inga.
J. Clifford Wallace, 69, of the Felicita Ward, Escondido California South Stake, called as president of the San Diego Cali fornia Temple, succeeding Pres. Clinton D. Davis. Pres. Wallace's wife, Elaine Jensen Wallace, will serve as temple matron.
Pres. Wallace has served as regional representative, mission president's counselor, stake president, stake president's counselor, bishop, and council executive board member of Boy Scouts of America. He has also served on various local, national and international legal and judicial organizations. A senior judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals, he received a bachelor's degree from San Diego State University, and a law degree from University of California-Berkeley. He was born in San Diego, Calif., to John Franklin and Lillie I. Overing Wallace.
Sister Wallace is a former stake and ward Relief Society president, stake and ward Young Women president, and filled a Church service mission in Washington, D.C. She attended BYU, and was born in Reno, Nev., to Reuben A. and VeNora Sarah Evans Jensen.
