Six more mission presidents have been called by the First Presidency. The mission presidents and their wives will begin their service about July 1. The new mission presidents and their assignments are:

- Craig S. Cheney, 39, Paraguay Asuncion Mission; Sugar Land 1st Ward, Houston Texas South Stake; ward mission leader; former counselor in mission presidency, high councilor, counselor in stake mission presidency, counselor in bishopric, branch president, ward executive secretary, elders quorum president and counselor, and missionary in the Costa Rica San Jose Mission; executive vice president and managing director of retail division for the Houston office of Trammell Crow Co.; received bachelor's degree in accounting from BYU; born in Berkeley, Calif., to Urban Sterling and Jessie Cheney; married Carolyn Zirker, five children. She is a stake missionary; former ward Young Women president, counselor in Primary presidency, Sunday School and Primary teacher, Relief Society visiting teaching coordinator, Relief Society compassionate service leader, Relief Society teacher, chorister, Cub Scout den mother, and missionary in the Canada Winnipeg Mission; attended Mesa Community College and BYU; born in Peru, Ind., to Ronald John and Sherri Lana Magnusson Zirker.- Robert S. Gabbitas, 61, Ecuador Guayaquil South Mission; East Hills Ward, Bakersfield California East Stake; counselor and former counselor in stake presidency; former bishop and counselor, branch president, high priests group leader, Sunday School teacher, and missionary in the Central America Mission; high school Spanish teacher; received bachelor's degree in Spanish and business, and master's degree in Spanish and educational administration, both from BYU; born in Bakersfield, Calif., to George William and Barbara Savage Gabbitas; married Kathleen Crook, five children. She is ward Relief Society compassionate service leader; former Relief Society president and counselor, Primary president and counselor, Young Women president, Mia Maid adviser, Primary and Relief Society teacher, and inservice teacher; received bachelor's degree in art and music from BYU; born in Lyman, Wyo., to Reno Giles and Lecia Madsen Crook.

- Sander L. Larson, 62, Washington Seattle Mission; Rexburg 12th Ward, Rexburg Idaho Center Stake; high priests group instructor; former assistant area director of public affairs, counselor in stake presidency, high councilor, stake executive secretary, bishop, teachers quorum adviser, and missionary in the Norway Oslo Mission; associate director of public relations for Ricks College; received bachelor's degree in political science and history from BYU and master's degree in educational administration from the University of Utah; born in Glendale, Calif., to Lars Peter and Hjordes Nelly Jonasen Larson; married Merlyn Millburn, five children. She is ward Relief Society home management teacher; former stake Relief Society president and counselor, counselor in stake Primary presidency, stake teacher development leader, ward Relief Society president, Young Women president and Laurel adviser, and Primary president; received associate degree from Ricks College and attended BYU; born in Cheyenne, Wyo., to Frank Branch and Bertha Frieda Aste Millburn.

- Stephen Conrad Lenker Sr., 54, Albania Tirana Mission; Springville 5th Ward, Springville Utah Stake; bishop; former counselor in stake presidency, high councilor, bishop and counselor, Scoutmaster, and missionary with his wife in the Kenya Nairobi Mission; teacher at the senior Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah; attended the University of Minnesota; born in Owatonna, Minn., to Fritz Karl and Hazel Gertrude Nelms Lenker; married Nancy Raymond, three children. She is a stake institute teacher; former stake Young Women president, stake Relief Society president, ward Relief Society president and secretary, Relief Society homemaking leader, seminary teacher, and missionary with her husband in the Kenya Nairobi Mission; born in Paterson, N.J., to Russell Clark and Florence Elizabeth Winans Raymond.

- Ebenezer Solomon, 36, India Bangalore Mission; Bangalore 1st Branch, Bangalore India District; counselor in mission presidency; former counselor in mission presidency, district president, branch president and counselor, branch executive secretary, and missionary in the Singapore Mission; service center manager for the Church; received bachelor's degree in accounting from Bangalore University and master's degree in accounting and management from Mysore University; born in Bangalore, India, to George and Jemima Moses Solomon; married Savita Viswanathan, two children. She is branch Primary president; former branch Relief Society president and counselor, Primary and Relief Society teacher; received bachelor's degree in sociology and public administration, and master's degree in sociology from Osmania University; born in Bangalore, India, to Nagar and Saroja Viswanathan.

- John Fell Squires, 66, Nigeria Enugu Mission; Glendale 1st Ward, Glendale Arizona Stake; missionary with wife in South Africa Durban Mission; former counselor in stake presidency, bishop and counselor, deacons quorum adviser, Scoutmaster, and missionary in the Southwest Indian Mission; retired science teacher; received bachelor's degree in education and biological science from Utah State University; born in Logan, Utah, to George Walter and Harriet Viola Harris Squires; married Ina Mecham, five children. She is a missionary with her husband in the South Africa Durban Mission; former stake Young Women president, stake Relief Society board member, counselor in ward Relief Society presidency, Relief Society and Primary board member, Young Women teacher, Relief Society teacher, and Primary teacher; received bachelor's degree in child development and elementary education from Utah State University; born in Duchesne, Utah, to Adelbert and Ina Lizzie Hanberg Mecham.
