Traveling across Canada through six provinces, President Gordon B. Hinckley visited 12 cities in eight days, speaking to thousands of Latter-day Saints in member and missionary meetings.

President Hinckley began the journey in Victoria, British Columbia, July 31, and ended it in Toronto, Ontario, Aug. 8. In between he addressed members in Vancouver and Prince George, British Columbia, Aug. 1; Lethbridge and Edmonton, Alberta, Aug. 2; Regina, Saskatchewan, Aug. 3; Winnipeg, Manitoba, Aug. 4; Sudbury and Ottawa in Ontario, Aug. 5; Montreal, Quebec, Aug. 6; and Quebec City on Aug. 7.Accompanying the Church president was his wife, Marjorie; and President Boyd K. Packer, acting president of the Quorum of the Twelve, and his wife, Donna.

Members of area presidencies also participated in the meetings in the areas in which they are assigned.
