What a pleasant surprise greeted Church members, guests and passersby approaching Texas' Champion Forest area the morning of June 13 - the day ground was broken near the site for the future Houston Texas Temple. Members of the local temple committee had no knowledge that a marquee sign would have a special message for an LDS audience.

Before the day of the groundbreaking the sign displayed community notices. However during the last two weeks in June the sign read "welcome" as a greeting of support for the upcoming temple project as well as a reminder to all: "There is beauty all around when there's love at home."
