A new Primary general presidency was sustained during the Saturday afternoon session of general conference.

Sustained as the new Primary general president was Coleen K. Menlove of Salt Lake City, Utah, who has been serving as a member of the Primary general board. Sustained as her first and second counselors, respectively, were Sydney S. Reynolds of Orem, Utah, and Gayle M. Clegg of Salt Lake City, Utah.Released as Primary general president was Patricia P. Pinegar, along with her counselors, Anne G. Wirthlin and Susan L. Warner. They had been serving as the Primary general presidency since October 1994.

Coleen K. Menlove, a native of Salt Lake City, has served as a stake Primary president, ward Young Women president and teacher in the Relief Society. She has a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Utah and a master's degree in elementary curriculum from BYU.

She and her husband, Dean, are parents of seven children.

Sydney S. Reynolds, who grew up in Burbank, Calif., has been serving as a member of the Primary general board. She has also served as stake and ward Young Women president, Relief Society president, Primary teacher and early morning seminary teacher.

Sister Reynolds has a bachelor's degree in history and political science with a teaching certificate in secondary education from BYU and has pursued post-graduate studies.

She and her husband, Noel, are parents of 11 children.

Gayle M. Clegg, a native of Salt Lake City, has served as a ward Primary president, Young Women president and gospel doctrine teacher. She also served with her husband, Calvin, when he presided over the Portugal Lisbon North Mission from 1996 to 1999. She has a bachelor's degree in history and geography from the University of Utah. She has taught school in Miami, Fla.; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Salt Lake City.

She and Brother Clegg are parents of five children.
