The soundtrack for "Light of the World: a Celebration of Life," is now available on compact disc.

The original music for the production was performed by a 1,500-member cast, including the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, the Orchestra at Temple Square and the International Children's Choir.

Presented at the Conference Center during the 2002 Winter Olympics in February, the production was seen by more than a quarter-million people in 10 sold-out performances, a benefit performance for Olympic Aid and three encore performances.

The original musical score was created by award-winning composers Kurt Bestor, Sam Cardon, Tyler Castleton, Kenneth Cope, Staci Peters and David Zabriskie.

The CD can be purchased for $5.75 at any Church distribution center, online at www.ldscatalog.com and by telephone at (801)240-3800 or toll free at 1-800-537-5971.
