Eight more mission presidents have been called by the First Presidency.
The mission presidents and their wives will begin their service about July
1. Their assignments will be announced later. The new mission presidents
are:
Roger W. Doxey, 64, Monument Park
15th Ward, Salt Lake Monument Park Stake; former member of Church Hosting
Committee, regional welfare agent, temple ordinance worker, high councilor,
stake Young Men president, bishop's counselor, and missionary in the East
Central States Mission; president of Doxey-Hatch Medical Center and
secretary of Doxey-Layton Co.; received bachelor's degree in business
management from BYU; born in Salt Lake City to Graham H. and Leone Blanche
Watson Doxey; married Jewell Ainsworth, five
children. She is a former member of the Church Hosting Committee, temple
ordinance worker, Relief Society president and counselor, Young Women
president and counselor, counselor in Primary presidency, Young Women
adviser, Primary and Relief Society teacher, and Young Adult leader;
received bachelor's degree in education from the University of Utah; born
in Richfield, Utah, to Jack M. and Irene Miller Ainsworth.
James A. Lemmon, 51, Hurricane 4th
Ward, Hurricane Utah Stake; member of stake public affairs committee and
Sunday School teacher; former stake president and counselor, stake Young
Adult leader, bishop's counselor, ward Young Men secretary, and missionary
in Guatemala and El Salvador; real estate agent; attended Utah State
University and received bachelor's degree in accounting from BYU; born in
Cedar City, Utah, to Cleo Jack and Delma Cathilda Ballard Lemmon; married
Sandra Jemmett, six children. She is ward
Relief Society president; former ward Primary president, counselor in
Relief Society presidency and Young Women presidency, Sunday School
teacher, Relief Society teacher, and Primary teacher; attended BYU; born in
Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Dale Edmond and Joyce Bernice Elliott Jemmett.
Kevin R. Nield, 48, Centerville 15th
Ward, Centerville Utah North Stake; counselor in stake presidency; former
high councilor, assistant stake executive secretary, bishop and counselor,
and missionary in the Texas North Mission; manager of field operations and
humanitarian service for Church Welfare Services; received associate degree
in business from Ricks College and bachelor's degree in health sciences
from BYU; born in Rigby, Idaho, to Ralph Percy and Jessie Ruth Bingham
Nield; married Suzan Anderson, four children.
She is on the ward activities committee; former stake missionary, ward
Primary president, member of Young Women presidency and of Relief Society
presidency, Primary and Relief Society teacher; received degree in nursing
from Eastern Idaho Vocational College; born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to
Merlin Darold and Bonnie Call Anderson.
Lorin N. Rasmussen, 67, Valley View
9th Ward, Salt Lake Holladay North Stake; former Temple Square tour guide
and supervisor, high councilor, stake Sunday School and Young Men
president, stake missionary and ward mission leader, bishop, branch
president, high priests group leader, ward Sunday School and Young Men
president, Scoutmaster, Explorer adviser, deacons quorum adviser, and
elders quorum president; owner and chief executive officer of Salco Inc.;
received bachelor's degree in business from the University of Utah; born in
Salt Lake City to Lorin Neils and Anna LeIsle Phillips Rasmussen; married
Sally Anderson, seven children. She is ward
Primary pianist; former stake Relief Society board member, counselor in
presidency of Primary for the handicapped, counselor in ward Relief Society
presidency and Primary presidency, ward organist, Primary teacher, Relief

to Charles Worth and Agnes White Anderson.
Max B Simpson, 60, Hooper 5th Ward,
Hooper Utah Stake; counselor in ward Sunday School presidency; former
counselor in stake presidency, high councilor, bishop and counselor,
Aaronic Priesthood adviser, and missionary in the Gulf States Mission;
seminary teacher; received bachelor's degree in psychology from Weber State
University and master's degree in guidance and counseling from BYU; born in
Hooper, Utah, to Francis Valentine and Fawn LaVern Belnap Simpson; married
Marilyn Ence, five children. She is ward
Relief Society president; former stake Young Women secretary, ward Young

Steven M. Sims, 41, Rolling Hills
Ward, Centerville Utah Canyon View Stake; counselor in bishopric; former
institute teacher, ward assistant executive secretary, Sunday School
teacher, elders quorum teacher, Explorer adviser, assistant priests quorum
adviser, and missionary in the Portugal Lisbon Mission; president and chief
executive officer of Western Fidelity Mortgage Co.; attended BYU and the
University of Utah; born in Logan, Utah, to Robert Louis and Bette Lou Pace
Sims; married Catherine Mason, four children.
She is a ward Primary worker; former institute teacher, ward Relief Society

Primary worker, and missionary in the Colombia Cali Mission; received
bachelor's degree in psychology and nursing from BYU, and master's degree
in social work from the University of Utah; born in Garden Grove, Calif.,
to Jerald Elliott and Miriam Elizabeth Petersen Mason.
Noel G. Stoker, 60, Orchard View
Ward, Fresno California North Stake; member of California Fresno Mission
presidency; former high councilor, bishop, ward Young Men president and
priests quorum adviser, Scoutmaster, and missionary in Australia; oral and
maxillofacial surgeon; received bachelor's degree from Utah State
University, dental degree from the Washington University School of
Dentistry, and master's degree and certificate in oral and maxillofacial
surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center; born in Cedar
City, Utah, to Golden Lyman and Armenia Willey Stoker; married Carol Ralphs, three children. She is a seminary
teacher; former member of stake Young Women presidency, ward Young Women
and Relief Society president, Mia Maid adviser, and ward organist; received
bachelor's degree in home economics, education and child development from
Utah State University; born in Ferron, Utah, to LaVerd and Eldona Black

Warren G. Tate, 54, Holladay 3rd
