The First Presidency has called new directors for nine of the Church's visitors centers and historic sites around the world.

The new leaders and their wives will be trained at the Provo Missionary Training Center Feb. 8-12, and will begin their two-year terms of service following their training.

The new directors and their wives and their assignments are: Hugh J. and Diane C. Barlow, Independence (Mo.) Visitors Center; William J. and Raelene B. Critchlow, St. George (Utah) Temple Visitors Center; Judson H. Jr., and Juanita Marlene Flower, Joseph Smith Memorial (Vt.) Historic Site; Dale and Sheree Gubler, Cove Fort (Utah) Historic Site; Darson W. and Geniel S. Roper, Kirtland (Ohio) Visitors Center; Richard K. and Lois J. Sager, Nauvoo, Ill.; David E. and Carol C. Salisbury, Washington D.C. Temple Visitors Center; DeWayne W. and Jean F. Simmons, San Diego (Calif.) Mormon Battalion Visitors Center; and Richard I. and Judith Annette Winwood, Temple Square (Utah) North Visitors Center.

Hugh J. Barlow, 61, was born in Kingman, Ariz., to Edmund F. and Ethel C. Moon Barlow. He married Diane Catmull, and they are the parents of five children. They are members of the Monument Park 16th Ward, Salt Lake Monument Park North Stake. Elder Barlow has served as director of the Independence Visitors Center, high councilor, bishop, stake Young Men president, stake athletic director, and elders quorum president. He was co-owner of MTA Resorts, vice president of Sweetwater Resorts, and vice president of Gusto Marketing.

Sister Barlow was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to George B. and Florence M. Holbery Catmull. She has served as Relief Society president and counselor, Young Women president and counselor, Cub Scout leader, nursery leader, activities committee chairman and with her husband at the Independence Visitors Center.

William J. Critchlow III, 68, was born in Ogden, Utah, to William James Jr. and Anna Maria Taylor Critchlow. He married Raelene Brian Sommers, and they are the parents of 12 children. They are members of the Brookhaven Ward, Kaysville Utah East Stake. Elder Critchlow has served as high priest instructor, high priests group leader, counselor in a stake mission presidency and bishop. He has been an attorney, vice president/

trust officer of Commercial Security Bank, FBI clerk, a Congressman's assistant, and assistant law librarian.

Sister Critchlow was born in Afton, Wyo., to Elmer and Wanda Leona Warren Sommers. She has served as Primary general board member, stake and ward Relief Society president, and Young Women president's counselor.

Judson Harold Flower Jr., 66, was born in Alamosa, Colo., to Judson Harold and Myrtle Thomas Flower. He married Juanita Marlene Heflin, and they are the parents of four children. They are members of the Miles City Ward, Glendive Montana Stake. Elder Flower served with his wife in the Tennessee Nashville Mission, and as stake mission president and counselor, district president and counselor, district counselor, district mission president and branch president's counselor. He is a former high school teacher, and president and dean of Miles Community College.

Sister Flower was born in Fortuna, Calif., to Robert Wesley and Marion Francise Bullard Heflin. She has served as district Relief Society president, branch Relief Society president, counselor and teacher, Primary president, and with her husband in the Tennessee mission.

Dale Gubler, 57, was born in Santa Clara, Utah, to Archie Henry and Marie Blake Gubler. He married Sheree Miles, and they are the parents of seven children. They are members of the Santa Clara 1st Ward, Santa Clara Utah Stake. Elder Gubler has served as a temple ordinance worker, stake president, counselor in a stake mission presidency, high councilor, bishop, high priests group leader, Scouting coordinator, gospel essentials teacher, and served with his wife in the England London South Mission. He has worked in beef production and livestock farming.

Sister Gubler was born in St. George, Utah, to Edward Colburn and Oriena De Friez Miles. She has served as temple bridal attendant, temple ordinance worker, stake Relief Society homemaking counselor, ward Relief Society president, ward chorister, and with her husband in England.

Darson W. Roper, 66, was born in Vernal, Utah, to Ross E. and Lacy Lovair Jones Roper. He married Geniel Simper, and they are the parents of 11 children. They are members of the Cascade 1st Ward, Orem Utah Cascade Stake. Elder Roper has served as stake president's counselor, bishop and teacher. He has been a manager at Church headquarters and Temple Square.

Sister Roper was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Thomas N. and Maurine Olive Adamson Simper. She has served as ward organist and teacher.

Richard Karl Sager, 63, was born in Lehi, Utah, to Ferren Nicholes and Zora Nevada Healey Sager. He married Lois Johnson, and they are the parents of five children. They are members of the Smoot Ward, Afton Wyoming Stake. Elder Sager has served as president of the Tennessee Knoxville Mission, director of the Nauvoo Visitors Center, temple worker, stake president's counselor, bishop and counselor. He has been an attorney.

Sister Sager was born in Conrad, Mont., to Blaine Walker and Wanda Whatcott Johnson. She has served as stake Relief Society counselor, ward Relief Society homemaking leader, gospel doctrine teacher, counselor in a Young Women presidency, Primary nursery leader, and with her husband in Tennessee and Nauvoo.

David E. Salisbury, 71, was born in Provo, Utah, to Claude and Sarah Houtz Salisbury. He married Carol Clyde, and they are the parents of four children. They are members of the Monument Park 15th Ward, Salt Lake Monument Park Stake. Elder Salisbury, an attorney, has served as high councilor, stake Sunday School president and counselor, bishop, high priests group leader, Salt Lake Temple Visitors Center guide, and gospel doctrine teacher.

Sister Salisbury was born in Springville, Utah, to Wilford and Jennie Palfreyman Clyde. She has served as ward Relief Society president, Young Women counselor, Primary teacher, and counselor in a ward Primary presidency.

DeWayne W. Simmons, 69, was born in Beaver Dam, Utah, to Marvin and Aileen White Simmons. He married Jean Foster, and they are the parents of six children. They are members of the Foxhill Ward, North Salt Lake Utah Stake. Elder Simmons has served as a Bountiful Utah Temple ordinance worker, stake president's counselor, high councilor, bishop and counselor. He has been a mayor, real estate agent, and district manager.

Sister Simmons was born in Ogden, Utah, to Harvey and Ella Smout Foster. She has served as a Bountiful Utah Temple ordinance worker, ward Relief Society counselor, and ward music director.

Richard I. Winwood, 55, was born in Portland, Ore., to Robert Ivan and Edna Pauline Winwood. He married Judith A. Rigas, and they are the parents of four children. They are members of the Salt Lake Cottonwood 5th Ward, Salt Lake Cottonwood Stake. He has served as stake mission president, high priests group leader, Young Men president, and teacher. He was an executive in the airline and time management industries.

Sister Winwood was born in Portland, Ore., to Demetrios T. and Leoda Bell Grebe Rigas. She has served as Relief Society president and Young Women president.
