The flood waters of immorality, irresponsibility and dishonesty lap at the moorings of our lives.
A strong Melchizedek Priesthood base safeguards those moorings, providing a foundation to withstand eroding influences.
A pool of prospective elders is found in each ward and stake. Far too many boys falter without advancing to the Melchizedek Priesthood, eroding the priesthood base and curtailing the activity of wives and children.
Strong leaders can reverse this trend. Priesthood brethren must rally to save every young man.
Enlisting parents' help can frequently make the difference in a boy's priesthood progression. Many problems are solved when young men are worthy and receive the Melchizedek Priesthood.
"We will ensure that every young man will more likely than not go on a mission and will marry in the temple."
One-on-one rescue work can reactivate older brethren trapped in the prospective-elder pool.
