From the opening greeting to the closing comments, the Sunday morning
session was marked by music and testimony of the Savior's
resurrection.
"We greet you this Easter Sabbath morning," said President Gordon B. Hinckley, who conducted the session.
Later, during his closing testimony, President Hinckley said, "These simple words, 'He is not here, but is risen,' have become the most profound in all literature."
Music for the session was provided by the Tabernacle Choir. Selections included: "He Is Risen," "With Humble Heart," "When Saints Unite to Sing God's Praise" and "He Died! The Great Redeemer Died." Jerold Ottley directed the choir with John Longhurst at the organ.
Elder Duane B. Gerrard offered the invocation and Elder Wayne M. Hancock gave the benediction. Both are members of the Seventy.
