President Gordon B. Hinckley, along with his counselors in the First Presidency, President Thomas S. Monson and President James E. Faust, and others broke ground July 21 for an apartment complex to be located across the street west of the Ogden Temple in Ogden, Utah.

Named Colonial Court Apartments, the project calls for 221 apartments to be built in a complex of three three-story buildings. Zions Securities Corp., developer of the apartments, hosted the groundbreaking ceremony that included comments by President Hinckley and Ogden Mayor Glenn J. Mecham.

City planners have approved the complex for 80 percent of occupancy to be for tenants over 55 years old. Construction of the complex is expected to be completed during the fall of 2000.
