Louis Pascal Eugene Marie Arhan, 75, previous first counselor in the Papeete Tahiti Temple, began serving as president of the Papeete Tahiti Temple Sept. 1. He succeeds Pres. Don H. Hendricks. Pres. Arhan's wife, Aroarii Tetara Tahauri Arhan, will serve as temple matron. Their biographical information will be published later.

Max W. Craner, 71, Rexburg 4th Ward, Rexburg Idaho East Stake, called as president of the Logan Utah Temple, succeeding Pres. G. Jack Kidd. Pres. Craner's wife, Evelyn Parke Craner, will serve as temple matron.

Pres. Craner is an Area Authority Seventy, former president of the Philippines Quezon City Mission, regional representative, stake president and bishop. He has been involved with the Boy Scouts of America and the American Red Cross. He is a retired Church Educational System administrator who received a doctorate from BYU. He was born in Burley, Idaho, to John Thomas and Sarah Lauretta Wells Craner.

Sister Craner is a former stake Relief Society, stake Primary, and Young Women president. She attended the Southern Idaho College of Education. She was born in Declo, Idaho, to Vasco Anson and Teresa Anderson Parke.

Richard Dan Lee, 72, Guilford Ward, Greensboro North Carolina Stake, called as president of the new Raleigh North Carolina Temple. Pres. Lee's wife, Jean Robbins Lee, will serve as temple matron.

Pres. Lee served as stake president, stake clerk, regional welfare agent, bishop, branch president and temple worker. A retired general contractor and developer and owner of Superior Construction Corp., he received vocational training in construction management from the National Association of Home Builders. He is a charter member, past director and president of Greater Greensboro Builders Association and is a life director of the National Association of Home Builders. He was born in Norfolk, Va., to Richard Daniel and Dorothy Ella Radford Lee.

Sister Lee is a former stake and ward Relief Society president, stake family services representative, temple worker, and Scouter. She attended technical college and agency courses. She was born in Ellerby, N.C., to Marmaduke and Mamie Edna Garner Robbins.

Everett S. Pallin, 70, Etobicoke Ward, Mississauga Ontario Stake, called as president of the Toronto Ontario Temple, succeeding Pres. Joseph F. Willmott. Pres. Pallin's wife, June Marie Marchant Pallin, will serve as temple matron.

Pres. Pallin served as president of the Georgia Atlanta Mission, mission president's counselor, stake president's counselor, bishop, and Scouter. He is a retired real estate manager. He was born in Mono Mills, Ontario, to William Thomas and Marguerite Lavina Breckenridge Pallin.

Sister Pallin is a former Relief Society, Young Women and Primary president, Scouter, seminary teacher, and accompanied her husband as mission president. She was born in Toronto, Ontario, to Charles Edward and Jessie Celia Snider Marchant.
