Aroarii and Louis Eugene Arhan
Louis Eugene Pascal Arhan, 75, Faripiti Ward, Papeete Tahiti Stake, called as president of the Papeete Tahiti Temple, succeeding John S. Morgan. Pres. Arhan's wife, Aroarii Tetara Turoa Arhan, will serve as temple matron.
Pres. Arhan served as temple president's counselor, stake finance clerk, high councilor and bishop's counselor.
A retired Tahitian Meteorology Service worker, he graduated from Marine and Naval School. He was born in Plobannalec, France, to Corentin and Marie-Perrine Bargain Arhan.
Sister Arhan is a former Primary and Relief Society president. She was born in Takaroa, Tuamotu islands in French Polynesia to Tahauri and Pipi Pou Turoa.
Stanley and Beverly Stott
Stanley Stott, 71, Billings 6th Ward, Billings Montana East Stake, called as president of the new Billings Montana Temple, which will be dedicated Nov. 20-21. Pres. Stott's wife, Beverly J. Stone Stott, will serve as temple matron.
Pres. Stott served as stake president, mission president's counselor, high councilor, bishop, bishop's counselor and high priests group leader.
A retired petroleum geologist, he received a bachelor's degree from BYU, and a master's degree from Texas A&M University. He was born in Bynum, Mont., to Leroy and Lillian Alta Jensen Stott.
Sister Stott is a former stake Relief Society president's counselor, ward Relief Society president and teacher, teacher development leader, Primary president's counselor and Primary teacher, and seminary teacher. She attended the University of Idaho. She was born in American Falls, Idaho, to Marian Dee and Esther LaVern Jensen Stone.
