Lorin J. and Mildred Mendenhall

Lorin J. Mendenhall, 67, Welling Ward, Magrath Alberta Stake, called as president of the new Regina Saskatchewan Temple, which will be dedicated Nov. 14, 1999. Pres. Mendenhall's wife, Mildred Aleta Wilde Mendenhall, will serve as temple matron.

Pres. Mendenhall served as president of the Canada Winnipeg Mission, stake president's counselor, temple sealer, stake executive secretary and bishop. A retired school guidance counselor, he received a bachelor of education and graduate diploma from the University of Alberta. He was born in Raymond, Alberta, to Thomas Tew and Nita Johnson Mendenhall.

Sister Mendenhall is a former stake Relief Society and Young Women president, counselor in a stake Young Women presidency, counselor in a ward Relief Society presidency, teacher in the auxiliaries and temple worker. She attended the University of Alberta and BYU. She was born in Welling, Alberta, to Reed LeRoy and Katie Glen Bullock Wilde.
