Kayland Evan Call, 64, of the Prior Lake Ward, Burnsville Minnesota Stake, called as president of the new St. Paul Minnesota Temple, which will be dedicated Jan. 9, 2000. Pres. Call's wife, Virjean Michaels Call, will serve as temple matron. Pres. Call is a temple ordinance worker, and served as a stake executive secretary, high councilor and bishop.
A retired airline pilot, he received a bachelor's degree from University of Wyoming. He was born in Afton, Wyo., to Evan P. and Bessie Warren Call. Sister Call is a temple worker, and was stake music chairman, ward Relief Society and Primary president and counselor in the Young Women presidency. She attended the University of Wyoming and was born in Basin, Wyo., to Glen W. and Julia Preator Michaels.
