Young women ages 12 to 18, their mothers and Young Women leaders are invited to the General Young Women Meeting to listen to the counsel of a member of the First Presidency and auxiliary leaders of the Church.
Speaking at this year's meeting, to be telecast live on the Church satellite system March 25 at 6 p.m. (MST) from the Salt Lake Tabernacle, will be President James E. Faust, second counselor in the First Presidency, and members of the Young Women general presidency. The meeting will be rebroadcast at 8 p.m. (MST) over the Church satellite and over KBYU-TV, channel 11. In addition, for the first time, the proceedings will be available via the Internet at www.LDSWorld.com.
As in the past, the meeting, based on the theme, "Stand as a Witness," will be seen in some 3,000 meetinghouses throughout the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. Young Women General President Margaret D. Nadauld said that she hopes Young Women leaders will make the meeting "a happening," by having a dinner or quiet activity on the same evening.
