ACCRA, Ghana — "Never have I felt such a great spirit of service the way I now feel," wrote a missionary in the Ghana Accra Mission to the Church News. The young man, Elder Charles Ekwonye, was writing of a recent service project that involved himself and 17 other full-time missionaries serving in the Cape Coast zone.

Over a period of several days, the missionaries gathered and donated sleeping mats, blankets and packaged foods for needy children at a village orphanage. Elder Ekwonye wrote: "The . . . service project brought the spirit of love and caring as the children reflected on the joy and love of Jesus Christ."
