April 4 — BYU Campus: The annual William Howard and Hazel Butler Peters Lecture in Western American Studies sponsored by the Redd Center for Western Studies will be presented by Richard Neitzel Holzapfel at 7 p.m. in the Harold B. Lee Auditorium. Holzapfel, an associate professor in the Department of Church History and Doctrine at BYU, will present "Strangers Among Us: Germans, Italians and Japanese in Utah County during World War II." The lecture is free and open to the public.

April 4 — Family History Library demonstration: "FamilySearch Internet Genealogy Service," Room 134/136, 10 a.m. Free admission. Located at 35 N. West Temple.

April 5 — BYU Campus: The Wind Symphony will perform a variety of works including the premier of "Prelusions" by retired BYU faculty member Gaylen Hatton. This free performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall of the Harris Fine Arts Center. Craig Jessop, newly appointed musical director of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, will be guest conductor.

April 7 — Temple Square: The University of Utah Concert Chorale, with John Cooksey conducting, will present in the Assembly Hall at 7:30 p.m. sacred works of the madrigal period.
