Point, Ore., four miles northwest of Medford, Ore.
Temple presidency: President Richard Ericson, counselors James Ray and Larry Nielson.
Rooms: Celestial room, baptistry, two ordinance rooms, two sealing rooms.
Facade: Gray granite quarried from Mount Airy, N.C.
Size: 10,700 square feet.
Architect: Dan Park.
Contractor: Corey Vitas Construction.
District: Serves more than 28,600 members in nine stakes in Oregon and Northern California, which are parts of the California Roseville, Oregon Eugene and California Santa Rosa missions.
Schedule: Opened April 17, 2000, for two sessions daily Wednesdays through Fridays; four sessions on Saturdays; additional sessions added later; appointments required.
Pertinent facts: Announced March 17, 1999; groundbreaking May 20, 1999; open house March 24-31, 2000, with nearly 46,000 attending; dedicated in four sessions by President James E. Faust on Sunday, April 16, 2000.
