Sitiveni Weleilakeba Bale, 68, Suva 3rd Ward,
Suva Fiji Stake, called as president of the new
Suva Fiji Temple, which
will be dedicated June 18. President Bale's wife,
Vasiti Ratukalou Cava Bale, will serve as temple
matron. President Bale, a stake patriarch, served as high councilor,
bishop's counselor and ward Young Men president. He was born in Loma Loma,
Fiji, to Isireli and Meretoka Naibili Bale. Sister Bale is a former branch,
district, ward and stake Relief Society president, stake Young Women
secretary and Primary president's counselor. She was born in Vuci, Fiji, to
Alsake B. and Karalaini Rokobui Cava.
Lorie and C. Gary Lunt
C. Gary Lunt, 65, Saratoga Springs 1st Ward,
Eagle Mountain Utah Stake, called as president of the new San Jose Costa
Rica Temple, which will be dedicated June 4. President Lunt's wife,
Dolores (Lorie) R. Perry Lunt, will serve as temple
matron. President Lunt served as president of the Argentina Missionary
Training Center,
Argentina Cordoba Mission, and as high councilor, bishop
and branch president. A retired U.S. Air Force pilot, he received a
master's degree from the University of Utah. He was born in Colonia
Pacheco, Mexico, to Clarence and LaVeta Cluff Lunt. Sister Lunt is a former
counselor in stake Young Women, Primary and Relief Society presidencies,
and ward Relief Society president. She accompanied her husband on two
missions. She attended BYU, and was born in Jerome, Idaho, to Veril and Dee
Larsen Perry.
Keith and Avis O'Grady
Keith Burnard O'Grady, 61, Springvale Ward,
Melbourne Australia Braeside Stake, called as president of the new
Melbourne Australia Temple, to be dedicated June 16. President O'Grady's
wife,
Avis Charlene Ngawaka O'Grady, will
serve as temple matron. President O'Grady served as counselor in the Sydney
Australia Temple presidency, patriarch, stake presidents' counselor, high
councilor and bishop. A concrete technician and structural supervisor, he
was educated in Engineering Commercial Practice. He was born in Thames, New
Zealand, to William and Annis LeFevre O'Grady. Sister O'Grady is a former
assistant matron in the
Sydney Australia Temple, stake and ward Primary
president, ward Relief Society president, family history library director,
stake and ward music chairman. She was born in Auckland, New Zealand, to
Chris and Jane Grant Ngawaka.
Lou Ceil and Scott H. Taggart
Scott H. Taggart, 72, Kirkland 1st Ward,
Kirkland Washington Stake, called as president of the new Montreal Quebec
Temple, which will be dedicated June 4. President Taggart's wife,
Lou Ceil Briggs Taggart, will serve as temple
matron. President Taggart, counselor in the
Guayaquil Ecuador Temple
presidency, served as president of the Canada Montreal and Zaire Kinshasa
missions, and as temple sealer, temple missionary in Switzerland, Spain and
Chile, as well as high councilor and bishop. He is a retired engineer and
management director for Boeing Co. He received an engineering degree from
the University of Wyoming. He was born in Cowley, Wyo., to Lloyd and Louise
Welch Taggart. Sister Taggart, assistant matron in the Guayaquil Ecuador
Temple, is a former stake and ward Relief Society president, temple
missionary in Switzerland, Spain and Chile, and president of a mission
YWMIA. She received continuing education, and was born in Cowley, Wyo., to
Ivan Richards and Annabelle Thorley Briggs.
Nefi and Rosa Elia Treviño
Nefi Treviño, 58, Edgemont 9th Ward,
Provo Utah Edgemont North Stake, called as president of the new Merida
Yucatan Mexico Temple, which will be dedicated July 8. President
Treviño's wife,
Rosa Elia Flores de
Treviño, will serve as temple matron. President Treviño,
the first labor missionary from Mexico, served as president of the Mexico
Hermosillo Mission, temple sealer, high councilor, stake executive
secretary, bishop and ward clerk. A retired accountant for the Church
Educational System, he graduated from Brigham Young University. He was born
in Monterrey, Mexico, to Hector and Alicia Allison Treviño. Sister
Treviño is a former stake and ward Relief Society president, Primary
president and temple worker. She was born in Nueva Rosita, Mexico, to
Domingo and Victoria Enriquez de Flores.
Robert and Barbara Wilmott
Robert James Wilmott, 68, Mount Barker Ward,
Adelaide Australia Marion Stake, called as president of the new Adelaide
Australia Temple, which will be dedicated June 15. President Wilmott's
wife, Barbara Beatrice Foster Wilmott, will
serve as temple matron. President Wilmott served as temple president's
counselor, stake president and counselor, branch president, and stake and
ward Young Men president. A credit manager and managing director of a
mercantile agency, he received a business studies certificate. He was born
in Campsie, Australia, to Thomas Patrick and Ethel May Lutton Wilmott.
Sister Wilmott is a former assistant temple matron, Relief Society
president, Primary president, secretary and teacher. She was born in
Shanghai, China, to William Henry and Lilian Emily Jury Foster.
