ARLINGTON, Texas — Weeks after tornadoes ripped through neighborhoods in Arlington and Fort Worth, Texas, dozens of missionaries from the Texas Fort Worth Mission were still giving service.

The missionaries volunteered thousands of hours helping the residents clean up after the March tornadoes, which destroyed hundreds of homes. Their efforts were featured in numerous positive newspaper and television reports.

"We are proud of our missionaries here for their desire and willingness to serve," said Larry L. Whiting, mission president.
