Masuru and Junko Tsuchida

Masaru Tsuchida, 62, Kitakyusyu Ward, Fukuoka Japan Stake, called as president of the new Fukuoka Japan Temple, which will be dedicated June 11. President Tsuchida's wife, Junko Wakamatsu Tsuchida, will serve as temple matron. President Tsuchida, currently first counselor in the Japan Fukuoka Mission presidency, served as president of the Japan Missionary Training Center, president of the Japan Sapporo Mission, stake president and district president. He is a retired Church Educational System area coordinator. He was born in Nagoya, Japan, to Syotaro and Suzu Ukai Tsuchida. Sister Tsuchida is a former stake Young Women president, counselor in a stake Relief Society presidency, seminary teacher and Sunday School teacher. She was born in Nagoya, Japan, to Yori and Masako Yamada Wakamatsu.
