Many blessings come to us because of the Fukuoka Japan Temple.

Before its completion, the Area Presidency challenged us to contact and encourage less active members of the Church, and challenge them to attend the open house events and become worthy to attend a dedicatory session.

Many responded favorably to this challenge. They revived their faith in order to enter the sacred House of the Lord. I personally knew of four less active members who rededicated themselves to attend Church and become worthy to enter the temple. Several of them brought members of their families and friends with them to the temple. Many of these people began to study the doctrines of the Church.

One investigator spoke to me in a small, humble voice, saying, "I was so impressed during the open house that I was moved to tears. I couldn't stop crying until I left the temple."

Another young girl, after completing the public tour of the temple, said, "I definitely want to be married here someday."

A friend was unable to get a recommend to attend the dedication, but parked his car in a nearby parking lot from where he could see the temple. During the services inside, he prayed constantly for the Spirit to be there. The Spirit confirmed to him that his prayers were answered.

The dedication of the Fukuoka temple brought great blessings to the people of this area. I know that we will continue to be blessed by its being here. — Tsukasa Yamazaki, Miyazaki Branch, Kagoshima Japan District
