Earnest J Whiting Jr., 83, president of the Oklahoma Tulsa Mission, 1974-1977, died Oct. 20, 2000, from cancer in Mesa, Ariz. He served as counselor in the Kanab Utah Stake presidency, and president of the Arizona Flagstaff Stake. He also served in the Arizona Tempe Mission presidency.
