SPOKANE, Wash. — Relief Society sisters in the Spokane Washington Stake participated in two days of service and learning Oct. 20 and 21.

An evening of service and sisterhood was held Friday evening, Oct. 20, as sisters assembled 136 newborn kits, 450 hygiene kits and 108 education kits for shipment to the Church's Humanitarian Service Center. A local TV station will accept 66 "coats for kids" for children in need. In addition, some 35 quilts are being completed for donation to Project Linus to provide security to seriously ill or traumatized children.

Saturday, Oct. 21, 53 pints of blood were donated to the local blood blank while sisters attended a variety of mini classes throughout the day. Topics were geared towards the needs of sisters within the Spokane stake.
