Dedication dates are revised for South American temples

The dates announced for the dedication of the Recife Brazil, Porto Alegre Brazil and Montevideo Uruguay temples have been changed because of construction delays in Montevideo, the First Presidency announced.

The Recife Brazil Temple will be dedicated in four sessions on Friday, Dec. 15, 2000. The temple will open its doors to the public Nov. 11 through Dec. 2, 2000, except Sundays Nov. 12, Nov. 19, and Nov. 26. The temple will open for ordinance work on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000.

The Porto Alegre Brazil Temple will be dedicated in four sessions on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000. The temple open house will be Dec. 2-9, 2000, except Sunday, Dec. 3. The temple will open for ordinance work on Monday, Dec. 18.

The open house and dedication dates for the Montevideo Uruguay Temple have been postponed and will be announced at a later date.
