SAVANNAH, Ga. — Members of the Savannah Georgia Stake Relief Society participated in a daylong stake enrichment fair Oct. 21 — part of the "Angels in Aprons" Community Service Project, open to women in all of the churches throughout Savannah and surrounding areas.
The projects included making and compiling 120 hygiene bags to be donated to shelters, and 100 school bags to be given to shelters and LDS Humanitarian Services. Others service projects helped people at the Bethesda Boys Home, the Ronald McDonald House, the Hope House and numerous nursing homes.
Because October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month, 292 cancer caps were made by LDS women, which were presented to the American Cancer Society.
