President Thomas S. Monson, first counselor in the First Presidency, will speak at the first Church Educational System fireside of 2001, which will be held at 6 p.m. Mountain Standard Time on Sunday, Jan. 14 and carried on the Church's satellite system.
The 6 p.m. starting time for the fireside will be the starting time for other firesides carried on the satellite system, which are scheduled to be held Feb. 4, March 4, May 6, Sept. 9 and Nov. 4, all on Sundays.
Other events scheduled to be carried over the satellite system include the general Young Women meeting, March 24; general conference, March 31-April 1; and general women's conference, May 3-4.
