Suzanne and E. Marshall "Marty" McCoy

E. Marshall "Marty" McCoy, 67, Centerville Ward, Fremont California Stake, called as president of the Oakland California Temple, succeeding President Kay H Clifford. President McCoy's wife, Suzanne Webb McCoy, will serve as temple matron. President McCoy, most recently has served as first counselor in the presidency of the Oakland temple, was president of the Dominican Republic Santo Domingo East Mission, former high councilor and bishop. A retired school principal and teacher, he received bachelor's and master's degrees from BYU. He was born in Salina, Utah, to Milton Nephi and Myrtle Ivy Ewles McCoy. Sister McCoy, assistant temple matron, served with her husband when he was mission president, and has been a Primary, Relief Society and Young Women president. She was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Ralph Smith and Mildred Whipple Webb.
