SALT LAKE CITY — Members of the Ricks College national junior college championship men's and women's cross country teams were recognized at the school's President's Club banquet in Salt Lake City April 7. The annual banquet honors those who provide philanthropic support for the college.

The Ricks women's cross country team, led by national champion Kristen Ogden of Chico, Calif., won its sixth consecutive national title in November at the junior college finals in Levelland, Texas. Kristen finished the women's 3.1 mile-course in 18:00.7. The Ricks men's team won a second consecutive national team title and was led by national champion Jeff Davidson of Burley, Idaho. Jeff, who returned from his mission to Costa Rica just three weeks before the start of the fall season, finished the men's five-mile course in 25:53.1.
