FUKUOKA, Japan — The BYU performance group, Young Ambassadors, began a tour throughout Japan May 9 in Fukuoka. During the tour, they performed two-hour shows in nine major concert halls and held nine firesides. They also visited local governments, hospitals and schools. In Gifu, they attended the music class of Kanou High School with President Richard Evans of the Japan Nagoya Mission and President Goto Yasuo of the Nagoya Japan West Stake.

The group began its tour April 30 in Eastern Russia.
