The Raleigh North Carolina Temple has received an award from the city of Apex, where it is located, for "Best Appearance — Non-residential Category." A sign acknowledging the designation will be posted for three months on the temple grounds and city officials will present a certificate to the temple presidency, said Randolyn Emerson, director of the Raleigh, N.C., multi-stake public affairs council. The temple was dedicated in December 1999.
