Family: Born Dec. 31, 1940, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Harley and Lucille Ramsey Workman; married Katherine (Kaye) Evelyn Meyers, daughter of Gene E. and Dorothy Evelyn Miller Meyers; parents of Teri Kaye (Bruce) Mahoney; Christopher Ross (Wendy); Heidi and Ryan (Andrea).

Education: Graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor's degree in chemistry and juris doctorate from the University of Utah.

Employment: Attorney and firm managing director for Workman, Nydegger & Jensen; former attorney and partner with Fox, Edwards & Gardner.

Church service: President of the Hawaii Honolulu Mission, former stake mission president's counselor, high councilor, bishop and missionary in Southern States Mission.
