Neil C Twitchell, 69, Fairview Ward, Henderson Nevada Lake Mead Stake, called as president of the Las Vegas Nevada Temple, succeeding President Paul Judd. President Twitchell's wife, Wanda Vee Avery Twitchell, will serve as temple matron. President Twitchell served as temple president's counselor, mission president, regional representative, stake president and counselor. A retired elementary school principal, he received a bachelor's degree from the College of Southern Utah and master's degree from University of Nevada. He was born in Springdale, Utah, to Clin Henry and Elva Larene Crawford Twitchell; Sister Twitchell is a former Relief Society president, Young Women president, and counselor in stake Relief Society and Young Women presidencies. She was born in Venice, Utah, to Cyrus Lincoln and Amy Collings Avery.
