To extend educational opportunities to more Church members, the Church Educational System and BYU will broadcast 12 presentations of the 2001 Campus Education Week, to be held Aug. 21-24, over the Church satellite system throughout the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. The broadcasts will also be carried via LDS Radio Network, KBYU-TV (Channel 11) in Utah, Internet audio streaming (www.byu.edu/edweek), and BYUTV (DISH Network Channel 9403/DirecTV Channel 374). The broadcast times for all carriers will be from 7-10 p.m. (MDT) each day.

Campus Education Week offers 1,000 classes and traditionally attracts more than 25,000 participants each year to BYU in Provo, Utah. In 2000, more than 100,000 individuals viewed the broadcast of Education Week. Classes on education, religion, marriage, family relations, health, history, genealogy, science, youth interests and other topics. President James E. Faust of the First Presidency will offer the devotional address.
