Aug. 21— Concerts in the Park Series: The group Kirkmount, winner of the Prairie Home Companion Contest, will perform Celtic and Scottish music on fiddle and cello, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Brigham Young Historic Park at the southeast corner of State Street and 2nd Avenue, Salt Lake City. Free admission. Free parking is available at 59 East North Temple.

Aug. 24 — Concerts in the Park Series: The Canterbury Singers will sing classical and traditional songs in a capella arrangements beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Brigham Young Historic Park. Free admission.

Aug. 24 — Temple Square Concert Series: New Zealand coloratura soprano and winner of the Mobil Song Quest Competition, Ana James, with Terence Dennis at the piano, will perform numbers by Rossini, Bellini, Offenbach and others, in the Assembly Hall at 7:30 p.m. Free admission.

Church Garden Tours — Through September, scheduled tours will start in the southwest lobby of the Church Office Building, Mondays-Fridays at noon and 4 p.m., and on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. Sunday garden tours will start at 10:15 a.m. at the east gate of Temple Square.
