Sept. 7 — Free lecture on Brigham Young at 7 p.m. in the BYU Conference Center Auditorium. Third in the series, "The Legacy of Brigham Young Today," will be given by Ronald W. Walker.

Sept. 8 — Temple Square Concert Series: An evening of Tabernacle organ music will be performed at 7:30 p.m. in the Tabernacle commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Schreiner, Tabernacle organist for over half a century. Titled the "Alexander Schreiner Centennial Celebration," former students of the late master organist will perform his works as well as works he frequently played. For free tickets, call 240-0080. Sept. 4-8 — Church members are invited to audition for the Church musical "Savior of the World." Auditions will be held Sept. 4-8, from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Conference Center Theater. Come prepared to sing up to 16 bars from two contrasting musical theater songs. An accompanist will be provided. There will be cold readings. Please bring a photo and resume.
