Sept. 27— Family History Library demonstration: "Finding and Using Indexes in English Genealogical Research," Museum Auditorium, 4:30 p.m. Free admission.
Sept. 28— Jill Mulvay Derr of BYU's Smith Institute for Church History, will deliver a lecture, "Brigham Young's Counsel to Women," at 7 p.m. in the BYU Conference Center Auditorium. Free admission.
Sept. 22 — Temple Square Concert Series: The Orchestra at Temple Square, with Barlow Bradford conducting, will perform in the Tabernacle at 7:30 p.m. Free tickets may be obtained by calling 240-0080.
Through September — Scheduled tours of Church gardens will start in the southwest lobby of the Church Office Building, Mondays-Fridays at noon and 4 p.m., and on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. Sunday garden tours will start at 10:15 a.m. at the east gate of Temple Square. Free admission. Call 240-5916 to schedule tours.
In September — The Earth Science Museum (1683 N. Canyon Rd., Provo, Utah) is displaying "Torvosaurus tanneri." The museum also features two fully mounted skeletons of Campotosaurus and Allosaurus and other exhibits. Museum hours: Mondays-Fridays, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturdays, noon to 4 p.m. Free admission.
