LDS conference to air live on TV, radio, Net

The proceedings of the 171st Semiannual Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be televised live by KSL TV-Channel 5 and aired by KSL Radio (1160 AM). General sessions will be at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, and Sunday, Oct. 7. Beginning at midnight each day, KSL Radio will repeat the sessions.

BYU Broadcast Services also will present repeat telecasts on KBYU-Channel 11 immediately following each session, at noon and 4 p.m. The general priesthood session Saturday evening will not be broadcast.

The Channel 11 rebroadcast schedule, each to be aired at 10 a.m., includes: the Oct. 6 morning session on Oct. 14; Oct. 6 afternoon session on Oct. 21; Oct. 7 morning session on Oct. 28; and Oct. 7 afternoon session on Nov. 4.

In addition, conference sessions can be heard live over the Internet in any of 38 languages at ( www.lds.org/broadcast). The Web site will post text of the addresses within the week following conference.
