Clifford Eugene Carroll, 69, Johns Creek Ward, Roswell Georgia Stake, called as president of the Atlanta Georgia Temple, succeeding Heber S. Branham. President Carroll's wife, Sandra Jean McMichael Carroll, will serve as temple matron. President Carroll, first counselor in the Atlanta Georgia Temple presidency and a patriarch, served as stake president and counselor, high counselor and bishop. A computer systems specialist and former deputy director of communications at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia, he received a bachelor's degree from Mercer University and master's degree from George Washington University. He was born in Macon, Ga., to Henry Clifford and Lora Ruth Snow Carroll. Sister Carroll, assistant matron in the Atlanta temple, is a former stake music chairman, ward Relief Society president and seminary teacher. She was born in Macon, Ga., to Rupert Lee and Ethel Potter McMichael.

Donnell W. Hunter, 71, LaBelle 3rd Ward, Rigby Idaho East Stake, called as president of the Santiago Chile Temple, succeeding President Robert E. Wells. President Hunter's wife, Nita Deon Kearsley Hunter, will serve as temple matron. President Hunter served as mission president, area welfare agent for Central America, temple sealer, high councilor and bishop's counselor. A retired English teacher at Ricks College, he received a bachelor's degree from Ricks College and masters' degrees from Utah State University and the University of Montana. He was born in Rigby, Idaho, to William Wallace and Bertha O'Donnell Hunter. Sister Hunter, a temple worker, served with her husband on their two missions, and is a former stake and ward Young Women president, stake and ward Relief Society board member, Relief Society teacher and Primary president's counselor and teacher. She is a registered nurse and was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Lorin Preston and Mary Phyllis Hatch Kearsley.

Dean L Larsen, 68, Foster Hills 2nd Ward, St. George Utah Pine View Utah Stake, has been called as president of the Lima Peru Temple, succeeding President J. Marlan Walker. President Larsen's wife, Leona Mae Robinson Larsen, will serve as temple matron. President Larsen, who recently returned after serving as president of the Santo Domingo Dominican Republic Missionary Training Center, is a former mission president, high councilor, and bishop. He is a retired school teacher and coach. He was born in Mesa, Ariz., to Elwood Earl and Lorna Miller Larsen. Sister Larsen is a former stake and ward Relief Society and Primary president, and filled missions in Venezuela and Dominican Republic. Sister Larsen was born in Richfield, Utah, to Attewall Bunting and Hazel Mae Roberts Robinson.

Glenn Y. M. Lung, 73, Kaimuki Ward, Honolulu Hawaii Stake, called as president of the Laie Hawaii Temple, succeeding President J. Richard Clarke. President Lung's wife, Julina E. Jensen Lung, will serve as temple matron. President Lung served as regional representative, mission president's counselor, stake president and multi-stake physical facilities representative. He is a retired fire battalion chief and retired Church physical facilities manager. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Kwai Shoon and Gladys C.K.L. Lung. Sister Lung is a former counselor in the Young Women, Primary and Relief Society presidencies, ward music chairman, seminary and gospel doctrine teacher. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Otto M. and Lottie K. Talkington Jensen.

Jerry D. Wheat, 66, Foxhill Ward, North Salt Lake Stake, called as president of the Hong Kong China Temple, succeeding President W. Brent Hardy. President Wheat's wife, Donnetta De Haan Wheat, will serve as temple matron. President Wheat served as president of the Hong Kong Mission, stake mission president, high councilor, high priests group leader and public affairs missionary in Hong Kong. The owner of Jerry D. Wheat Insurance Agency, he attended Utah State University. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Charles M. and Emma E. Wheat. Sister Wheat is a former VIP hosting missionary at Church headquarters, public affairs missionary to Hong Kong, Relief Society counselor and teacher, and Primary and Sunday School teacher and Junior Sunday School coordinator. She was born in Glendale, Calif., to William John and Marva Sander DeHaan.
