EL PASO, Texas — Elbert Pratt, a member of the El Paso 5th Ward, El Paso Texas Mount Franklin Stake, was named "Outstanding University Coach of the Year" at the National Pole Vault Summit Jan. 12. He coaches at the University of Juarez in Mexico.
At the same event, sponsored by the USA Track and Field Federation, Julene Baily, a member of the Nampa 5th Ward, Nampa Idaho South Stake, took second place in the girls high school division. The summit is the largest clinic and competition in the world with more than 1,500 participants this year.
