The First Presidency has announced that the dedication services for the Nauvoo Illinois Temple will be broadcast to stake centers worldwide on Thursday evening, June 27, 2002.

A statement dated Jan. 15 to be read in sacrament meeting said: "The services will be broadcast live at 6 p.m. CDT and rebroadcast at 8 p.m. CDT. The concluding dedicatory service will also be broadcast live worldwide at 5 p.m. CDT on Sunday evening, June 30, 2002.

The statement continued: "Because some time zones will receive these broadcasts at inconvenient hours, additional rebroadcasts in these areas will be scheduled at a convenient hour on Friday, June 28, 2002, or Sunday, June 30, 2002.

"Special dedication recommends and instructions will be mailed to each stake. These recommends will be available to all baptized, temple worthy members desiring to attend.

"Members are encouraged to participate in these services in their own stake center."
