BANGKOK, Thailand — Thai brothers Kietisak, 21, Thavesak, 20, and Premsak Bunpheng, 19, are serving Church missions at the same time in the Thailand Bangkok Mission. They are members of the Asoke Ward, Bangkok Thailand Stake.

Kietisak and Thavesak were members of an all-star basketball team called the Youth Team of the Kingdom. Thavesak said that he wanted to try to make the Adult Team of the Kingdom, but his mother asked him to wait and go on a mission. He was the first to put in his papers and has been in the mission field for 10 months. He had also been accepted at Kasetsart University on a scholarship as a basketball player, but he placed a higher priority on a mission.

Kietisak and Premsak put in their mission papers at the same time and started their service in December. Kietisak just graduated from Kasetsart with a degree in agricultural science. Premsak has just graduated from high school.

While having three brothers from one family serving at the same time is not uncommon in areas where the Church has long been established, it is uncommon in Thailand.

Their mother, Pinthong Bunpheng, has been a Church member for 28 years.
