BUENA VISTA, VA. — Two members of the Buena Vista Ward, Buena Vista Virginia Stake, have received coaching honors after leading their teams at Southern Virginia University to national championships. Paul Wright, the women's cross country coach, and David Mercer, the men's soccer coach, were named National Coach of the Year by the United States Collegiate Athletic Association. Both were in their first season coaching at SVU.
