ST. GEORGE, Utah — Tennille Bennett, a forward and repeat first team all-American soccer player at Dixie State College, was named in January the 2001 Women's Junior College National Player of the Year by NSCAA/Adidas. She received the honor at the annual National Soccer Coaches Convention in Philadelphia, Pa. Tennille led her team to two consecutive trips to the national championship game, winning the national title in 2000. She is a member of the Dixie College 12th Ward, St. George Utah College Stake.
