LAIE, Hawaii Brigham Young University-Hawaii's men's tennis team moved into the top spot in the NCAA II national rankings in March for the first time in the school's history. The Seasiders, ranked third in the previous poll, took over the top spot on the heels of a hard-fought victory over the previous No. 1 team, Hawaii Pacific.
The BYU-Hawaii women's team is ranked second in the women's poll. The Seasiders trail last year's national champion, Lynn University. However, Lynn was defeated since the rankings came out by No. 3-ranked Armstrong Atlantic State.
