June 1 Temple Square Concert Series: The Lyceum Chamber Ensemble, a select student string orchestra from Utah Valley under the direction of associate conductors Denise Willey and Daniel O'Bryant, will perform works by Holst, Albinoni, Villa-Lobos, Vivaldi, and Leroy Andersen, in the Assembly Hall, 7:30 p.m. Free admission.
June 7 Temple Square Concert Series/Concerts in the Park: The Utah National Guard 23rd Army Band will open the Summer series at 8 p.m. in the Brigham Young Historic Park on the southeast corner of State Street and 2nd Avenue. Seating is limited. Bring blankets for lawn seating. No food or drinks, please. Free admission.
Through Jan. 20, 2003 Museum of Church History and Art exhibit: "Nauvoo," shows historical images of the Mississippi River city that once again has a temple on the hill. Museum Hours: Mondays-Fridays, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays and most holidays, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. 45 N. West Temple. Free admission.
