OMAHA, Neb. — Michael Andraszczyk, a deacon in the Laguna Niguel 4th Ward, Laguna Niguel California Stake, won two championships at the recent National Junior Olympics in Omaha, Neb. Competing in the boys midget division for 11-12 year olds, he finished first in the 800-meter run nearly four seconds better than the second-place finisher. He finished second in his heat, but shaved six seconds off that time in the final. In a closer race, he claimed the 1500-meter run title with a time of 4:40.55, winning by just more than a second.
