Elder Ben B. Banks, 70, South Cottonwood 13th Ward, Salt Lake South Cottonwood Stake, called as president of the Jordan River Utah Temple, succeeding President Loring M. Hampton. Elder Banks' wife, Susan Kearnes Banks, will serve as temple matron. Elder Banks, who served in the Presidency of the Seventy from 1999-2002, was called to the First Quorum of the Seventy in 1992 and to the Second Quorum of the Seventy in 1989. He is former president of the Scotland Edinburgh Mission, and a former stake president and bishop. He is a former owner and president of a lumber company. He was born in Murray, Utah, to Ben F. and Chloa Berry Banks.

Sister Banks served with Elder Banks when he was mission president, and is a former stake Relief Society president's counselor, Relief Society homemaking leader, Den Mother, and teacher in Relief Society, Young Women and Primary. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to E. Jay and Blanche Beasley Kearnes.

Anne Hulleman, 64, Apeldoorn Ward, Apeldoorn Netherlands Stake, called as the president of the new The Hague Netherlands Temple, which will be dedicated Sept. 8, 2002. President Hulleman's wife, Elizabeth Johanna Boks Hulleman, will serve as temple matron. President Hulleman served as stake president and counselor, mission president's counselor, district president's counselor, branch president and temple ordinance worker.

He is a retired project leader of a consulting engineer's office. He was born in Apeldoorn, Netherlands, to Cornelis and Sika Atsma Hulleman.

Sister Hulleman has served as stake Relief Society president, Young Women president, district Primary and Young Women president and teacher. They served in the Amsterdam Netherlands Mission from 1996-97. She was born in Apeldoorn, Netherlands, to Johannes and Elizabeth Van Mossel Boks.
