MONTROSE, Colo. — In mountainous southwestern Colorado, members of the Montrose Colorado Stake Relief Society are reaching out to the world. Gathering from all across their nearly 8,000-square-mile stake, they met at the stake center Sept. 28 to make 60 small dolls, as well as dozens of children's fleece scarves, school bags, crocheted bandages for leprosy patients and several quilts to be included in Church disaster relief shipments. They also reached out to their own communities, giving service to Alzheimer's patients in area nursing homes.
